Bella a Week Post 7

We finally got some videotapes after having to rely on ourselves to create memories for a few weeks.

In this one, Bella gets ready for bed, or rather refuses to. Then there's a Bella-less interlude in which Scott and Raffi (our temporarily adopted dog) recline together. And then Bella in the kitchen monologues. Watch to the end. It's worth it.

Bella a Week Post 6

In this video, which uses up the backlog of footage from the beginning of April, Bella, Mama, and Daddy take a walk in our neighborhood, which was starting to blossom.

Then we have a family birthday party, after which Bella plays with her new toys.

In this week's video (the most recent footage here is from April 1), Bella bakes cookies with Mama and then eats one. Later, she sings some songs in the kitchen and dances the Hokey Pokey.

Bella a Week Post 4

In this video, taken March 17 (I know, I know, I'm behind), Isabella counts. We were trying to figure out a way to best rinse her hair in the bath, so we tried to parlay her love of counting into a love of counting with her eyes closed. That will explain a lot. Also notice the way 8 follows 11.

Next, Bella gives a dissertation about her coming birthday party.

At the end, Bella steals a piece of bread off Talie's plate.

Bella a Week Post 3

Over breakfast, Bella talks about the harrowing incident a few weeks ago when Daddy slipped on the front steps trying to take Bella to daycare and the cat to the vet (as she says, "Bella OK"); about Happy Feet, the movie she just saw; and about anything that comes to her mind (if you listen carefully you can hear Mima, Mindy, Bubby, Papi, and Reese name-dropped in there).
